Student Induction
The induction process lets you get to know the type of work you will be doing in your new course. At the end of induction you should:
- Know other students on your course and the staff who will teach you.
- Be familiar with the layout of the College and how to make use of the facilities.
- Be familiar with emergency procedures.
- Be aware of your course structure, timetable and administrative procedures.
- Be aware of your responsibilities as a student and citizen.
The Student Services Team
The College has a comprehensive student support service. The Student Services Team can assist with a wide range of issues from student finance to personal problems. All interviews are impartial and confidential. With your permission, issues outwith the skills of our staff can be referred to one of the external agencies who work with the College. Student Services staff are located within each campus or telephone 01236 436000.
