Performing Arts and the many routes of study which lead to success are offered here at Coatbridge College. Qualifications can lead to professional success in TV, theatre and film, further study at College or with a Degree awarding institution.This is a fiercely competitive career path and we equip every student for the challenge. All of our staff enjoy professional performance experience in every aspect of study offered - from acting on the professional stage, taking a role in a West End Musical, composing for film, dancing for TV or touring the world as a singer! We understand your aspirations and look forward to promoting and developing your talent.
A full and intensive curriculum is provided to support and develop you as an individual and as part of a team, working towards performance and gaining valuable core technique as you study.
Our performances offer the opportunity for every student to showcase their ability, to bring the arts to our community and allow students to experience professional life as they learn. We wish you every success at audition and look forward to seeing you shine!

Success Stories
My course involves dancing, singing and acting. I’ve been dancing since I was 2 years old and I love it so that’s the best part for me. I’m a hip hop dancer and I especially like jazz and contemporary dance because it’s so different to what I’m used to.I came to College straight from school in East Kilbride and was pretty nervous about studying quite a distance from home. It’s been a great experience though and I’ve had loads of support from lecturers and the Horizon Centre. As a disabled student, I’ve found the College to be the perfect environment to study in.
I’d eventually like to have a stage career or start my own dancing school.
