Health & Social Care
The courses are designed to take interested applicants from Intermediate 1 level through to HNC. Two vocational courses have been introduced this year for those applicants who wish to take this route to social care registration.
Successful candidates must undertake a confidential criminal history check through Disclosure Scotland, and for HNC Health Care students, an immunisation programme for Hepatitis ‘B’ will be organised. The College will assist and direct students in all requirements necessary.
The team is committed to helping you achieve your potential and achieve your goals, and we look forward to having you join us in our newly completed, state of the art training facilities. So, check out our courses and find the one best suited to your requirements.

Success Stories
I’ve been at Coatbridge College for three years now and have progressed onto the HNC Health Care. I’m on placement at a care home just now – I’m learning a lot and really enjoying it.
I’d like to go on to University to study Adult Nursing and my goal eventually is to be a midwife.
