Success Stories

An image of Lee Ting,HNC Hairdressing, Hairdressing and Make-Up Artistry at Coatbridge College I loved that my course was so creative while teaching me the practical skills I needed as well. I’m working in a salon in the west end of Glasgow now and I really enjoy it.

Coming to College really boosted my confidence especially through giving me the opportunity to take part in national industry competitions. The lecturers are friendly and easy to speak to and I met a lot of new people.

Studying at Coatbridge College really prepared me well for getting a job – you get to take photographs of all your work throughout the year and this really helps to build your portfolio. I found that employers like this as it shows what you can do and lets them know what to expect of you.
