Martin Dewar, Senior Lecturer For Computing and Creative Technologies at Coatbridge College Welcome to the Computing and Creative Technologies section of the Course Guide – please come and join us for a trip through technology. Whether you are interested in sound, computing or digital media we have an up to date course that is right for you.

We are delighted to be the first Apple Authorised Training Centre for Education in Scotland and we are now able to offer Apple Certified Training within our HND courses. This is a great opportunity for you to gain skills that will really help you move on to further courses or gain employment.

We also have well equipped labs full of all the latest equipment and are keen to show you how to get the best out of it! The staff are a friendly team and are always here to help – we enjoy using the kit as much as you do!

This is a great chance for you to learn new skills and meet new friends. So, if you have an interest in the area and want to work with up to date technology, then please apply for one of our courses.

I’ve been a student at the College for 3 years now – and I love my student life! When I left school, I started at Access level and moved on to an NQ – I’m now working towards achieving my HND Interactive Media.

I really enjoy my course, particularly the photography and media side of things – it’s really different and interesting.

My classmates are brilliant and I’ve made a lot of new friends – the lecturers are great too and I’ve got to know them really well.

After my HND I’d like to progress to University to gain my degree. I’d really like to work in the media industry once I’ve completed my studies.
