Carole McCarthy
Carole joined the Board of Management in April, 2005. She is a Director with Scottish Enterprise and has an excellent knowledge of the Lanarkshire company base and the important key companies in Lanarkshire who are critical in driving the Lanarkshire economy. Carole is a member of the Executive, Remuneration and Estates Committees and chairs the Human Resources Committee.David Craig
David joined the Board of Management in February, 2002. He has extensive experience within an estates management environment across a wide range of properties and services. He is currently the Acting Head of Estates at Monklands Hospital, Airdrie. David is a member of the Executive, Remuneration and Finance Committees and chairs the Estates Committee.James Lindsay
Jim joined the Board of Management in January, 2001. He is the General Manager of Airdrie Savings Bank and has had significant experience in the banking industry. He has been an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in Scotland since 1976 and was awarded Fellowship of the Institute in 1991. Jim is Vice Chair of the Board and is also a member of the Executive, Remuneration, Finance and Estates Committees.John Doyle
John joined the College as Principal and Chief Executive in November, 2004. As Principal, he is a member of the Board and is a member of all subcommittees with the exception of Audit (where he is in attendance) and Remuneration.John also chairs the Student Affairs Committee.
John Gray
John has been the Chair of the Board of Management since May, 2002. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland and has significant industrial experience principally in engineering, 23 years of which was at director level. John also chairs the Executive and Remuneration Committees and is a member of the Finance Committee.Kenneth Coulter
Kenneth joined the Board of Management in December, 2004. He is the Operations Manager of an oils distribution company in Shotts, Lanarkshire. Kenneth is acutely aware of the importance of continuous training and education in advancing individual skills and contribution to business well-being. Kenneth serves on the Human Resources Committee. Lorraine Sutherland
Lorraine is Secretary to the Board of Management. She is also the College’s Head of Human Resources & Administration. As Secretary to the Board of Management, she organises and supports the work of the Board to ensure it operates effectively and efficiently and in accordance with the principles of public accountability, acting independently to organise appropriate advice to the Chairman, the Board and it’s sub-Committees.Tracey Reid

Tracey is the non teaching staff elected representative on the Board of Management. She is currently the Corporate Development Officer at the College and has worked at the College since 1995.
Tracey is a member of the Audit Committee.
Paul Gilliver
Paul is a self employed consulting accountant, who has also held several senior positions in industry. He joined the Board in June, 2007 and Chairs the Finance Committee. Paul is also a member of the Executive and Remuneration Committees.
Ralph Gunn
Ralph has recently retired having held the post of Assistant Principal at Bell College, Hamilton for a number of years. Ralph joined the Board in October, 2007 and is a member of the Audit and Student Affairs Committees.Richard Murray
Richard joined the Board of Management in June, 2003. He is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a Tax Partner and Head of Tax for Baker Tilly, one of the largest accountancy practices in the UK. Richard chairs the Audit Committee and is a member of the Executive and Remuneration Committees.
Robert Wallace
Robert is the teaching staff elected representative on the Board of Management having joined in June, 2007. He is currently a Lecturer in Social Care at the College and is a member of the Finance Committee.
Alison Fleming
With effect from September, 2007 our Student Elected Representative is Alison Fleming.Thomas Bradshaw
Tom joined the Board in June, 2007, after retiring from the post of Principal of St. Thomas Aquinas New Learning Community in Glasgow in 2006. He held several positions in education during his career and has been appointed to the Student Affairs Committee.
Thomas Keenan
Tom retired from his position as Director of Social Services with Inverclyde Council in 2005, having also held senior positions in the Housing and Customer Services department of the Council. Tom joined the Board in June, 2007 and serves on the Audit Committee.
